Hi, I’m Christine Parini.
I bring my master’s degree in counseling psychology, many years in business, and years of profound living and studying with Indigenous peoples of South America to my coaching practice to support clients to live with more presence and connection, more vibrancy and authenticity.
Being in close relationship with Indigenous people gives me keen insight into what tends to create obstacles in relationships in more industrialized cultures, and not only have I been asked by Indigenous elders to help my people, but also I feel called to serve others by lovingly and sometimes humorously guiding them from that place to one that is more one of compassion, accountability and care. In the case of working with executives and professionals, we focus on working with greater compassion, creating ca culture of trust, and increasing productivity. I have studied Vedic wisdom, yoga and meditation for forty-plus years, and I am mother to an Amazonian Indigenous daughter whose keen insights have been great spiritual training ground for me.
I’m blogging about my adventures in the Amazon and High Andes on Substack. If you’d like to follow along you, can subscribe here.
My Approach
While I have worked as a professional counselor and family therapist, I find coaching allows for greater flexibility for me and my clients, be they executives, individuals or families. I view their challenges and strengths against a backdrop of decades of living with Indigenous peoples and Vedic meditative and yogic practice. My clients and I together to journey from a place of imbalance, which is pretty near impossible to avoid in our culture, to better balance, joy and harmony.
